Preparing the jaw for an implant:

Bone grafting is sometimes required when placing an implant. The most common reason for the bone graft is bone loss. Bone grafting provides the strong foundation for the implant making it strong and durable.

Securing the Implant:

The abutment will be placed four months after the implant is placed. Once our doctors have determined that the implant has osteointegrated and is ready to restore, they will place the abutment. The abutment is a permanent attachment that goes on top of the implant and holds your crown in place.
