West 10th Dental Group Supports Our Community

How our Indianapolis Dentist office gets involved in the community. Our local and global communities are important to us at West 10th Dental Group. We believe in using our abilities and experience to help those less fortunate and encourage our patients to do the same. We support and recommend the organizations and charitable associations listed here.

Women Like Us Foundation
www.WomenLikeUsFoundation.org

We proudly support the Women Like Us Foundation, a non-profit organization co-founded by one of our patients, Dr. Sally Bassett-Brown. This is an extraordinary organization dedicated to inspiring and empowering women and girls to make a difference globally and locally.

Striving to create and support sustainable global good works, a few projects include: building and supporting a birthing center and an elementary school in Uganda, supporting a children's home in South Africa, a preschool in Kenya, raising funds and mission trips for a school and community in Costa Rica, and building a Halfway House in South Africa. West 10th Dental Group supports the many children and families helped by this group by providing dental supplies and other items of need.

Dr. Robert Edesess Memorial Scholarship: Ben Davis H.S. www.Wayne.k12.in.us

In memory of beloved Dr. Robert Edesess, West 10th Dental Group established an annual scholarship opportunity at Ben Davis High School for ambitious students seeking further education in the scientific or medical field. Every year we are impressed by the level of talent these students posses and are excited to be a part of supporting their future success!

National Foundation of Dentistry for the Handicapped

Dr. Brent Barta has dedicated his time and expertise to the Donated Dental program for more than 26 years. In 2012, Dr. Jay Bowling joined in serving this organization as well. Donated Dental is a remarkable program designated to provide comprehensive dentistry for disabled, elderly, and medically-compromised individuals who cannot afford dental care.
